Cinnamon River Shrimp accepts several food types. In addition, they eat algae, feed, dead animals, etc. Above all, they are extremely active predators, hunting and preying on everything they find, and due to the lack of protein in their diet, it makes this behavior even more accentuated.
Temperament / Behavior
It is a very aggressive shrimp, hunting and killing other shrimp and fish, especially at night. However, the ideal is that they are kept alone inside the fish tank. During ecdysis, when your exoskeleton is soft, it can leave vulnerable, and it is precisely at this time that other shrimp can prey him.

Reproduction
The reproduction of the Cinnamon River Shrimp (Macrobrachium acanthurus) is very difficult, due to the fact that its reproduction is primitive, that is, the larval phase depends on brackish waters for its development, which makes this reproduction more difficult to be observed in fisih tanks. Males are larger and have more developed claws.
Fish Tank Size
The fish tank needs to be at least 80 liters for a single Cinnamon river shrimp.

I don’t think you’re right. I have 70 of these on a 200 L fish tank and they are reproducing. You may need to check your facts.
